What you should know before using your sauna?
  • Ease into your first session: It's normal to sweat less in your initial sauna experience. We recommend starting with lower temperatures and shorter sessions to let your body acclimate to the heat gradually, avoiding overheating and dehydration.
  • Stay hydrated: While it's ideal to be well-hydrated before entering the sauna, we provide a water bottle to help you stay hydrated during your sauna session. Remember to continue drinking water throughout the day.
  • Avoid drinking alcohol: It's important not to use the sauna if you have consumed a significant amount of alcohol beforehand, as alcohol can dehydrate the body. Sauna-ing while already dehydrated can be dangerous.

  • Choose loose clothing: After your session, your body will be hot and possibly sweaty. Opt for loose-fitting clothing to ensure comfort. Your body will continue to feel warm as it burns calories and regulates temperature.

  • If you need an energising boost in the morning, sauna sessions can provide that. For muscle recovery, schedule your session after a workout when your muscles are more receptive to the infrared rays. For better sleep, an afternoon or evening sauna can promote a deeper, more relaxed slumber.

  • Allow time to cool down: Take advantage of the sauna experience as a moment of self-care. Give yourself ample time to cool down and get dressed. If available.

  • Enjoy your Infrared Sauna experience: Embrace and enjoy the rejuvenating benefits of your infrared sauna.

Take this time to unwind, recharge, and indulge in the soothing heat therapy.

Is Infrared Sauna good for Cancer pain Relief?

Infrared saunas have shown promising benefits in supporting cancer treatment and providing pain relief for individuals undergoing chemotherapy. The heat generated by the infrared sauna has a unique impact on cancer cells, triggering an immune response and promoting their destruction. When cancer cells are exposed to heat, damaged proteins on their outer membranes alert the immune system, leading to the activation of macrophages and subsequent delivery of the damaged proteins to T cells. This process enhances the immune response against cancer cells, aiding in their elimination.

What to wear in an Infrared Sauna?

To get the most out of your sauna sessions, it is recommended to wear minimal clothing to allow the heat to directly penetrate your body.

If you prefer to wear clothes, opt for lightweight and breathable garments made of natural fibres like cotton.

Avoid synthetic materials that can trap sweat and hinder proper airflow.

Bringing a towel to sit on and another one for drying off post-session is a good practice as the towel you using for sitting on will most likely be dripping in sweat by the end of your session.

What is an Infrared Sauna?

Infrared saunas, also known as far-infrared saunas or IR saunas, utilise infrared heaters to emit radiant heat that directly heats the body instead of the surrounding air.

Unlike traditional saunas that rely on heated air or steam, infrared saunas penetrate the skin and heat the body from within. This unique heating method has led to a surge in interest and demand for infrared saunas as people seek natural and effective ways to improve their well-being.

So, how does an infrared sauna work?

The infrared heaters used in these saunas emit infrared light, which is a form of electromagnetic radiation. This radiation falls within the range of 5.6 to 15 micrometers, which is considered the "far-infrared" spectrum. These far-infrared waves are similar to the heat produced by the sun but without the harmful ultraviolet rays
